July

July 4-7, The Live Wires (ages 55+ and
spouses) are planning to tour the Tall Ships while they are in
Tacoma. To board ships from 10am-6pm, cost is $10 for smaller
ships, $20 for larger ships, Coast Guard ships are free.
Contact Jean Barkhurst or Glenavie Smith if you are interested in
carpooling from ECC.

July 13, Live Wires Potluck and Movie at
ECC (ages 55+ and spouses). Potluck begins at 1:00pm and will
be followed by the movie. Last names A-F bring main dish, G-M
bring salad, N-Z bring dessert. Contact Glenavie Smith for
more info.

July 14-18,
Vacation Bible School!
It's a jungle out there... and we're heading straight into it!
Explorers will connect the Bible to the real world as we take the
ultimate trek through time on an Amazon Expedition. We'll
explore the "Seven C's of History" from Creation to Christ while
learning that the Bible is the true history book of the universe.
The jungle will be jammin' as we enjoy songs, crafts, games,
goodies, and dramas. For adventurers entering K-6 in Fall
2008. No RSVP required.
Monday to Friday, from 6:00-8:30pm. For more information check

July 17, Puyallup Christian Women's Club
Brunch/Dinner at the Puyallup Best Western. Brunch
9:30-11:00am ($11). "After 5" Dinner 6:30-8:00pm ($13).
Contact Glenavie to make reservations (required).

July 20, Hymn sing at Mill Ridge Village
from 1:00-2:00pm. This musical ministry is organized by the
Live Wires, but all ages are welcome. Contact Glenavie Smith
or Jean Barkhurst for more info.

July 26, If you've lost a loved one, the
Grief Support Group will be getting together at 1:00pm. This
new group at ECC will be meeting at Helen Ambrose's. For more
information, contact Helen Ambrose or Laila Carlsen.

July 27-Aug 03, Youth Missions Trip.
Could still use 2 Adults willing to serve.

will meet to share and discuss what God is teaching us in our
"personal read and journal time with God" through the Gospel of
John. 7:00-8:30pm at ECC. For more information, contact

Millersylvania State Park with an all church potluck on Saturday,
August 23, at the park. To spend the weekend at the
campground, you can check campsite availability and make
reservations online at
