Women's Ministry
ECC's six-member women’s ministry team (WMT) is committed to planning
studies and events for women to connect with women, forming
relationships with the purpose of glorifying God through loving one another, growing in
Christ's likeness and building up the body of Christ (1 Peter 4:8-10).
That commitment is evident in:
-
Weekly Bible studies for women to meet
and share how God has revealed Himself in a real and personal way
through their time of study.
-
Events for women to connect with women
to enjoy the time set apart just for them, to know they are
beautiful and special in God’s eyes – no matter what “season” they
are in.
-
Activities for women to use their skills
and giftedness to work along side of one another as they serve the
Edgewood – Milton communities.
It is my prayer for each woman at Edgewood that God will increase her
thirst for Him, strengthen her faith and teach her how to enjoy her life
to the fullest by His standards. It is through that real and
personal relationship with God that she will be free to love others with
an extravagance and ultimately the body of Christ will be strengthened
and equipped for His purposes.
God brings people to His church for His plans and purposes. It is not by
coincidence you have visited Edgewood Community Church. I invite you to
find your place with us. It will be our privilege to meet you so that we
can love, encourage and support one another as women connecting with
women.
Because He first loves us,
“Hank” Bottroff
